Terms of Service

Last updated: May 5, 2026

These terms govern your use of the Automated Operations website, the mcp.automatedoperations.com configuration site, and any service operated by Automated Operations, LLC ("we", "us", "our") that links to these terms. By using any of those surfaces you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Who we are

Automated Operations, LLC, registered at 2443 Fillmore St #380-7856, San Francisco, CA 94115.

2. The service

Automated Operations provides a hosted platform that lets engineering teams connect AI agents to their infrastructure with policy-based access controls and audit logging. The platform consists of (a) the AO Cloud and AO MCP services we operate, and (b) the AO Toolkit binary you install on your own infrastructure under a separate license. AO Cloud and AO MCP are not offered for self-hosted, on-premise, or in-VPC deployment.

3. Beta status

We are in private beta. Features may change, be added, or be removed at our discretion. We do not commit to a service-level agreement during the beta. We may contact you for feedback on your experience. If you are unhappy at any time, you can stop using the service and we will close your account on request.

4. Account responsibilities

You are responsible for the security of your account credentials, the accuracy of information you provide, and the actions taken through your account by your users, agents, or automation. You must not use the service to violate the law, infringe rights of others, or attempt to disrupt the service.

5. Customer data and confidentiality

You retain ownership of the data your Toolkit reports to AO Cloud and the data your agents query through AO MCP. We use that data only to operate and improve the service for you. We treat your data and any non-public details about your environment as confidential information, accessible only to personnel and sub-processors who need it to deliver the service.

6. Pricing and payment

Beta customers are typically on a custom-quoted plan. Where applicable, payment is made monthly or annually in advance via Stripe. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or otherwise specified in your written agreement with us.

7. Intellectual property

We own the service, the AO Cloud and AO MCP software, the AO Toolkit binary, all related documentation, and the trademarks "Automated Operations" and "AO". You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute the service except where expressly permitted by a separate license. Your feedback to us is given on a non-confidential basis and we may use it to improve the service.

8. Acceptable use

Your use of the service is governed by our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. In summary, you may not use the service to attack or probe systems you do not own, circumvent access controls, extract non-public details of our platform, probe other tenants, send unsolicited communications, or violate applicable laws.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your specific requirements.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Automated Operations and its officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, or lost data, arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to these terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, fail to pay, or use the service in a way that puts other customers or our infrastructure at risk. On termination, we will give you a reasonable opportunity to export your data.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from or related to these terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

13. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We will revise the date at the top of the page and, for material changes that affect customer rights, give reasonable notice by email.
