Who we are

Automated Operations, LLC ("Automated Operations", "we", "us") operates https://automatedoperations.com and the related Automated Operations service. Our registered address is 2443 Fillmore St #380-7856, San Francisco, CA 94115. You can reach us at privacy@automatedoperations.com.

What this policy covers

This policy describes the data we collect through our marketing website (automatedoperations.com), our MCP configuration site (mcp.automatedoperations.com), and our customer-facing product surfaces. If you are already a customer, the data your AI agents query through Automated Operations on your own infrastructure is governed by your service agreement, not this policy.

What we collect

• Information you give us. Your work email when you submit our contact form. Anything you type into our in-app chat (provided by Intercom). Your name, company, and billing details when you become a customer.
• Inbound traffic context. When you arrive at our site we capture the originating campaign parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term) and HTTP referrer in your browser session, and pass them with your contact form submission. We do this so we can tell which of our outreach channels work.
• Anonymous analytics. Pageviews, top paths, devices, browsers, country-level geography. We do not set cookies for tracking. We do not assign you a persistent ID.
• Bot-protection signals. Cloudflare Turnstile, our anti-bot service, evaluates non-personal browser characteristics to decide if you are a human. This happens on our contact form only.

How we use it

• To respond to your inquiry, schedule a call, and onboard you if you become a customer.
• To send transactional emails — account verification, two-factor authentication, password resets, billing notifications, security alerts. You cannot opt out of these while you have an account.
• To send occasional product updates if you have explicitly opted in. Every marketing email we send contains an unsubscribe link.
• To understand which inbound channels and content drive interest, so we can invest in what works.
• To prevent abuse of our forms and platform.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of third-party services as data sub-processors. They process data on our behalf under their own published privacy and data-processing terms. We do not sell your data to anyone, and we do not share it for advertising purposes.

• Intercom — customer messaging and lead capture. Receives your email, your form submission context, and any messages you exchange with us in chat.
• Vercel — hosts our marketing site and captures cookieless pageview analytics for it.
• Cloudflare — provides DNS, hosts the mcp.automatedoperations.com subdomain, and provides cookieless web analytics and Turnstile bot protection for our forms.
• Stripe — processes payments for paying customers. Stripe receives your billing details directly; we do not store credit card numbers.
• SendGrid (Twilio) — delivers our transactional and (rare) marketing emails.

Cookies

We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising. Our analytics tools are configured to be cookieless. Intercom may set first-party cookies on its messenger if you choose to chat with us; without those cookies, the chat session does not persist between visits.

Data retention

We keep contact-form submissions and chat conversations as long as your relationship with us is active, plus a reasonable archival period afterward. You can request deletion at any time by emailing privacy@automatedoperations.com. Anonymous analytics aggregates are retained per the analytics provider's default (12 months).

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@automatedoperations.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Children

Automated Operations is a B2B product intended for software engineering teams. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Security

We treat the data you give us with care: TLS in transit everywhere, encryption at rest for sensitive fields, principle of least privilege internally, and regular review of our sub-processors. No system is perfectly secure; if we ever discover a breach affecting your data we will notify you promptly and disclose what we know.

Changes to this policy

When we update this policy we will revise the date at the top of the page. For material changes we will additionally email registered customers.
