Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: May 5, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") defines acceptable practices for any Automated Operations, LLC ("Automated Operations") website, including automatedoperations.com, mcp.automatedoperations.com, any subdomain or other Automated Operations website (collectively, the "Sites"), and any Automated Operations service, application, product, or feature (collectively with the Sites, the "Services").

Automated Operations may modify this Policy at any time by posting a revised version. Changes apply prospectively beginning on the date of posting. If you violate this Policy or authorize or help others to do so — whether intentionally or unintentionally — we may suspend or terminate your use of the Services. The examples of prohibited behavior in this Policy are not exhaustive.

System integrity and security

You may not use or attempt to use the Services to violate the security or integrity of any network, computer, communications system, software application, or networked device (each, a "System"). Without limitation, you may not:

  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services or any System.
  • Access or use the Services, a System, or any content in a way that circumvents your or another user's usage entitlements or authorizations.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of a System, or breach or attempt to breach any security or authentication measures, except for security testing of your own infrastructure that you have explicit authorization to test.
  • Monitor data or traffic on a System without permission.
  • Forge TCP-IP packet headers, email headers, or any other part of a message describing its origin or route.

You may not make network connections to any users, hosts, or networks unless you have permission to communicate with them. You agree not to (and not to allow others to):

  • Engage in monitoring or crawling of a System that impairs or disrupts the System or the Services.
  • Perform any denial-of-service or similar attack such that the target cannot respond to legitimate traffic or becomes ineffective.
  • Attempt to overload a System by mail bombing, broadcast attacks, flooding techniques, or similar.
  • Operate open network services such as open proxies, open mail relays, or open recursive DNS resolvers through the Services.

AI-agent–specific restrictions

Because the Services let AI agents reach into customer infrastructure, the following are specifically prohibited:

  • Using the Services to direct an AI agent to attack, probe, or interfere with infrastructure you do not own or do not have explicit authorization to access.
  • Attempting to escalate an agent's authorized capabilities beyond the policy and approval scope your organization has set in the Services.
  • Using the Services to extract, reverse engineer, or reconstruct any non-public detail of the Automated Operations platform, our models, our policy engine, our agent communication protocol, or our customer-isolation boundaries.
  • Probing other tenants of the Services or attempting to read, modify, or interfere with another customer's data, environment, or agents.
  • Bypassing rate limits, capacity controls, or audit logging by any means.

Content

You may not use, or encourage, promote, facilitate, or instruct others to use, the Services to transmit, store, display, distribute, or otherwise make available content or technology that:

  • Misappropriates or infringes the intellectual property or proprietary rights of others.
  • Is defamatory, harassing, abusive, invasive of privacy, illegal, tortious, fraudulent, harmful to minors, obscene, or pornographic in nature, including any child sexual abuse material.
  • Damages, interferes with, surreptitiously intercepts, or expropriates any system, program, or data — including viruses, trojan horses, worms, spyware, time bombs, or any other malicious code.

Illegal use

You may not use, or encourage, promote, facilitate, or instruct others to use, the Services in an illegal or fraudulent manner, including:

  • Violating privacy or third-party rights.
  • Violating applicable export-control or sanctions laws.
  • Violating any laws prohibiting unfair, deceptive, or fraudulent business practices.

Email and notifications

You may not use the Services to:

  • Publish, send, or facilitate the sending of unsolicited, excessive, or harassing emails or notifications, or any communication that violates applicable email or anti-spam laws.
  • Alter or obscure mail headers or assume a sender's identity without that sender's explicit permission.

Reporting and enforcement

You agree to immediately notify Automated Operations of any violation of this Policy that you become aware of by emailing abuse@automatedoperations.com, and to reasonably assist Automated Operations in stopping and remediating such violations.

Automated Operations has the right, but not the obligation, to investigate misuse of the Services or violations of this Policy. We may remove, disable access to, or modify any content or resource that violates this Policy or any other agreement we have with you for use of the Services.

Automated Operations may report any activity we suspect violates any law or regulation to appropriate law-enforcement officials, regulators, or other third parties. Such reporting may include disclosing appropriate customer information. We may also cooperate with law enforcement and regulators by providing network and systems information related to alleged violations of this Policy.
